Mr. Nwankwo!

We’re thrilled to share Mr. Nwankwo’s inspiring success story.  Mr. Nwankwo came to The Courtyards at Pasadena following a lengthy hospitalization following a pedestrian versus motor vehicle accident.  Upon admission, Mr. Nwankwo was dependent on our dedicated staff for all needs, including repositioning, transfers, dressing, as he couldn’t walk due to weight restrictions and pain.

The exceptional nursing and therapy team at The Courtyards at Pasadena collectively worked together to devise a personalized treatment plan to address his pain, weakness, balance issues, and provide strategies for achieving independence despite his weight-bearing limitations. We are thrilled to report that Mr. Nwankwo is now walking with a cane, performing transfers and is able to complete dressing task without assistance.
